Ce weekend passé j'ai eu beaucoup de compliments sur le collier que je portais, lors d'un évènement de charité que j'ai assisté alors j'ai décidé de faire un post sur la mode des gros colliers! Celui que je portais vient du magasin d'accessoires Ardene, surprenant non? C'était vraiment dernière minute, j'avais déjà ma petite robe noire, mais je cherchais à l'accessoiriser un peu. Le collier et la paire de boucles d'oreille me sont revenus à seulement 15$ (Un bon deal! Oui, je sais, il manque une pierre! Mon amie Lauren ne l'a remarqué que plus tard, oops) Voici quelques trouvailles que j'ai faites sur internet, pour différentes occasions et prix:

I got many compliments on the necklace I was wearing last weekend at the charity event I attended, so I decided to make a post on statement necklaces! The one I got is from the accessory store Ardene, suprisingly! I had a basic black dress and wanted to accessorize it a bit but it was too last minute. The necklace and pair of earrings both costed me $15 (what a steal! yes, it's missing a stone, my friend Lauren only noticed later, oops). What I really like from the YAMAMOTO charger case is that it's both light weight and slim, providing one sleek design. The cover is made of matte polymer which provides a nice surface for grip, minimizing iphone slippage from the hand (unlike my previous model).

I have this new obsession with ear cuffs and I believe they are coming back in style! You don't need to wear them on both side, I think the asymetric look is prettier -- J'ai une nouvelle obsession avec les boucles d'oreilles "ear cuffs" et je crois bien qu'elles reviennent à la mode! Il n'est pas nécessaire d'en porter de chaque bord, le look asymétrique est beaucoup plus jolie.

Also available at H&M stores, the chains are shorter, they have it  in gold and silver, with star studs or ball studs for $5.95 the pair -- Aussi disponible dans les magasins H&M, les chaînes sont plus courtes, ils les vendent en or et argent, avec les boucles en forme d'étoiles et en boules.

This week I was excited to receive the "fish eye lens" package from YAMAMOTO INDUSTRIES . This iphone accessory add on is meant to mount directly to your iphone camera, make it relatively easy to take iphotos with the "fish eye effect." If you are unfamiliar with the term, take a look at the sample picture above. It gives the photos a more round effect, a great tool if your an amateur photographer or just looking to have some fun.

The YAMAMOTO package came with a hard plastic iphone case, a fish eye lens, and a small bag. The lens was very easy to mount onto the camera and required little time. 

This is what it looks like when you put it on your phone, with/ without the protector on, the case is very slim.

I've never used a professional camera with a fish lens, but I have downloaded basic applications to apply the fish eye effect. Let me tell you, there is a huge difference in favor of the Yamamoto Fish Eye Lens. The ease of use applied with simply taking the picture with the lens already attached instead of applying graphic filters can not be under estimated.
